Bless Their Hearts...

Bless their little hearts....

We have been up past our armpits in STUFF. Some STUFF is going to charity, some STUFF is going to the dump, and some STUFF is going to Cali with us (not a whole lot of that stuff). Sooooo, it's just pretty much a disorganized mess around here. In the comings and goings of all our STUFF, my wallet was placed on STUFF that was going to the garbage...you've got the picture. It had a lot of cash in it, Sven's check from work...already endorced, my check book, my credit cardS, and my driver's license. We really hoped it was in the middle of a trash heap somewhere never to be discovered...

So, today the nice police lady came by with a gift from an anonymous do gooder....my driver's license!!!!! Sooooo, someone is enjoying my money, Sven's money, my bank account. and credit cards. Bless their sweet little hearts....

Swimming

The law of gravity and the law of flotation... I have experienced these things, and they both work very well on me. We've discussed this somewhat. To change this phenomenon, I told you that I wasn't going to deal with the opposition. Instead I would make a small comfortable change, and through that change somehow... without focusing on the real issue at hand.... I would trick myself into a healthier lifestyle, and thus increased health, and less gravity. (see Gravitational Pull on May 22) Soooo...I started with water. It lasted not even a week, and as soon as my innards had a nice bath, and I was uncomfortable, I was done... and that was that.

The law of attraction and the law of opposition...Yesterday I listened to Rebecca Hintze's teleseminar..."Finding Success with the Law of Attraction". It was VERY well done. One thing she brought up was the role opposition plays in our progression. When we decide that we want to make a change, sometimes we feel a lot of opposition and conflict. Actually, that opposition is good, and perhaps even necessary, because it gives us the opportunity to face the issues that are holding us back, and heal. She even addressed how it's done. Once we heal these issues, the changes become easier. Rebecca talked about a lot of stuff, and I found it to be quite helpful. She is going to make the audio into a CD so you can hear it if you want. (It'll be available at Rebeccahintze.com, or Amazon.com within a couple of weeks.)

So, today I float. I'm going to learn more about what makes me float, and will put out the effort to have more gravity in the water, and less on land. I'll still be a good cruise buddy...I can swim.

He's Got My Back

Sunday I have to speak in church. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a story or something that I could tie my thoughts into. I got a letter from Yayum today... he pulled through for me! He's a missionary in New Caledonia which is a french island by Fiji. Some areas are pretty primitive which he loves. He said that their hymns aren't all the same as ours. His favorite hymn that they love to sing, and sing quite frequently is this:

My God, He's powerful
He does everything
And Him
He's got my back.
He's the one who made the world
He does everything,
And Him
He's got my back.

For the second verse they sing the same thing! I love it! I think I will use it in my talk. Heavenly Father has always had my back. I'm thankful.

Weekly Wisdom by Rebecca Hintze: Finding Success with "The Law of Attraction"

June 8, 2008

Recently, a client of mine began struggling immensely with his marriage and his pocket book. He was fired from his job, his home entered foreclosure, and his wife wanted a divorce. While his world seemed to be falling down around him, my client wondered why his years of positive affirmations and visualization were mounding toward such seemingly negative drama. He asked, "Why am I creating exactly the opposite of what I want?"

That's a good and important question that many of my clients have asked after learning about the "Law of Attraction" (which is defined as like energy attracts like results and thoughts have an energy that attracts like energy).

This is a question I will answer thoroughly in an upcoming teleseminar scheduled for Monday, June 16th at Noon EST (the audio program will be available for purchase).

First, we must realize that our energy field is complex and takes into account a broad variety of data, including the energy of family beliefs and traditions (which are often part of our genetic patterning), our quantum psychology which consists of our mental and emotional make up (including our belief systems, desires, fears, and self-definition), and our spiritual goals/divine purpose. All too often our conscious desires conflict with an aspect of this complex and powerful energy source we hold within our body/mind. Resolution of the conflicts comes through self- discovery and personal growth, which is a life-long process.

Here are six essentials to finding success with the "Law of Attraction":

1. Express your stored emotions
2. Uncover unhealthy desires, fears, and beliefs
3. Discover your worthiness
4. Find your real intention
5. Harness destructive habits through consistent, uplifting, daily living
6. Choose to love

Think about this: If you were to hold a clear bottle of purified water and add a cup of dirt, what would your water look like? Yes, it would be mucky. Would it make your water more clear and clean if you added a cup of fresh, distilled water to your now, mucky water? No. So it is with manifesting. When we add the good stuff (positive thoughts, affirmations, and consistent meditations) to a system that's already polluted with limiting emotions, fears, beliefs, and attitudes, we are diluting the situation. Resolution comes by cleaning out the system-which involves self- awareness, lots of self-expression, full transformation (that can only come through divine assistance), and more.

For this week's homework, look over the six essentials above and begin to work down the list. If possible, join me next week for a one-hour teleseminar or purchase the audio file of this program now.

Many blessings,

Docee Graduates

Sooooo...Docee graduates from high school tomarrow! I am so proud of this boy! He will be going to BYUI next fall. You can enjoy this picture, because he won't be adorning his body with a robe and a hat with a doilie thingie on it. I won't be getting pictures...infact, I won't even be attending his graduation. I will be staying home with him! In his ever so intelligent state of being, he has determined that the graduation ceremony is "stupid". That's okay. I already got pictures when he graduated from pre-school...good thing!

The Servants--

When Jaylene lived here, we sometimes found it necessary to send our "servants" to pick the kids up from school. It worked out well when there was an unmade bed or something of that sort. The servants couldn't do their jobs, so we would have to stay home to do it for them, and we'd send the servants to pick them up. Yayum thought it was pretty cool. Others made their beds on a regular basis.

Heaven's Gift...

On Mother's Day Henry ran up to me after class, jumping up and down as only a 2 year old knows how to do (the one footed hop), and handed me this picture on a piece of paper that was almost taller than he was. Then, rubbing his hands together, and swinging his body back and forth in excited anticipation he looked up into my face to see my joy as I looked at his creation. He wrapped his arms around my knees to give me a big hug and hopped all at the same time. I reached down and scooped him up in my arms and gave him a huge hug. What a precious gift...

Mom

I love this picture! It's a picture of my mom holding me and showing me to my older sister.

Grandpa

I've been doing some sorting and sifting...

This is my sister and I with my grandpa. He's the man I inherited my "laugh when I'm not suppose to" gene from. My kids got that gene too. Though he passed away when I was a young child, I have some very fond memories of him. My favorite memory is sitting on his lap and being completely amazed as he took his teeth out of his mouth, and put them back in again. He always carried a pack of Wrigleys Spearmint Gum in his pocket, and often had a spare piece for me. I loved his sourdough hotcakes. We often raided his strawberry patch, and picked his gooseberries...he was only amused. I love my grandpa.
