This year is 2020.  Covid - 19 is rampant.  Everyone is wearing masks.  Politics are crazy.  Racial division is big and loud right now. Businesses are shut down..  Walmart, Target, Lowes and Home Depot are open, but visiting the stores requires a mask and 6 foot distancing.  Hugs are taboo.  If you sneeze in public you'll get the stink eye.  Churches were shut down. Schools were closed.  Some are afraid of getting sick, or getting their loved ones sick.   I concur, we all should be staying away from those who are high risk!

Just before the schools were closed H was talking to his friends at lunchtime.  Rumor had it that Covid 19 was closing down some schools.  How they wished their school could be closed down - it would be like snow days on steroids!  Someone commented that someone should just "take one for the team".  A week later we received notification that schools were shut down, and they would be shut down for several weeks.  Well several weeks turned into months, then just melted into summer.  H had school online at home, but that was nothing.  I loved it!  I love having him home!

A visit with an old friend.  Masks.  6 feet apart.  Outside.  Crazy!
